Charity Golf Days

East Horton Golf Centre welcomes Charity Golf Days and is happy to offer competitive rates. Whether you are organising an event for the first time or you are an established fundraiser we can offer support and advice to help ensure your day is as profitable as possible. If you would like to organise an event and don’t know what to do, talk to us, we have organised many successful Charity Golf Days.

With two Championship Courses and a wide range of facilities we can cater for large numbers. We guarantee your guests will have a great day and your Charity will make a healthy profit!

Hampshire Autistic Society have held a very successful 'Lawrie McMenemey Celebrity Golf Day' at East Horton for the last 5 years. Lawrie is the Society's Fundraising President and when he agreed to stage an annual golf event the search for a suitable venue began.

The Bastian family were lovely and after a meeting with Lawrie and I, they had won us over completely. The service we receive is second to none and Lawrie looks forward to the event each year, as does the Charity. We enjoy coffee and bacon butties on arrival, followed by 18 holes on a fantastic course (the sun normally shines!) finished with a superb 3-course early evening meal. Twenty companies are invited every year and we sell out very quickly.

Charity events are very important to The Rose Road Association as it enables us to raise vital funds for the disabled young people in our care. Equally important is that the venues where we hold our events are supportive. We held a Charity Golf Challenge at East Horton last year and the event was a huge success. What made it special was the support before and during the event from the wonderful staff and management at the club. Nothing was left to chance and the whole day went very smoothly.

The feedback received from the teams was very positive, especially about the course and how well kept it was, right through to the food in the evening. An especially nice touch was that the golf club generously donated lunch to all our volunteers who where organising the day! Something we never expected.
